Nieces and nephews: Andrew King, Deanna King Brown, Phillip King, Tommy King, Melanie and Chris Mikel, Gregory and Jessica Burns, Jeffrey and Angela Burns, Jodi and Tom Otter, Douglas and Kerri Gannon, Arica Anderson, Jimmy Anderson, Chris Anderson, and Goldie Beth Tabor. She is survived by her husband, Bryce Anderson son, John Anderson and wife, Nancy and their children, Bryce, Zachary, and Ann Hinckley daughter Amy Zicarelli and son-in-law, Mike, and their children Luke and Lyla brother, Henry Grady King IV and wife, Cathey sister-in-law Catherine Gannon and husband, Jeff brother-in-law, Jim Anderson sister-in-law, Susan Anderson. Sandy loved life, her family, her friends, and her Savior. She was so proud of her community and the home that she and Bryce had built there. Sandy brought her leadership and talents to many aspects of growing Ennis. ![]() One of Sandy’s biggest strengths was her hospitality and her ability to gracefully welcome everyone into her home. Sandy was a loyal supporter of Bryce in his business endeavors and building a family built on love. Sandy’s passions were spending time with family, improving the local landscape of bluebonnets, hosting friends and family at her beautiful home at Sugar Ridge, and traveling the world with her husband Bryce, to whom she was married for over 55 years. She worked tirelessly to help answer the needs of the community. With a loving heart, Sandy was a longtime supporter and campaigner of United Way, A-Cross, and Helping Hands of Ennis. She has been a longtime member of 20th Century Club, The Ennis Heritage Society, Delphi Literary Club, Sinne Supper Club, and the Turnarounds travel group, as well as her special friends group, The Footsie’s. Sandy was instrumental in working with other civic leaders to establish the Ennis Public Theatre which proudly resides now in downtown Ennis. Sandy became a member of the Ennis Garden Club where she chaired the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival for 41 years. She served on the church session and also served as Treasurer for over 20 years. They became active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis and made a lifetime of friends in the community. Sandy and Bryce moved to Ennis, TX in 1978 to establish Ennis Paint Manufacturing where they both found their true home. Shortly after being married, they moved to Saskatchewan, Canada for a year until moving back to Dallas, TX where they settled and had two children, John and Amy. She married Bryce Anderson on July 8, 1966. She graduated from Carrolton High School in 1964 where she then attended Texas Tech University, and subsequently worked for the Kim Dawson Modeling Agency, and Johnson & Johnson. Sandy was born in Dallas, TX on March 29, 1946, to Norma and Henry Grady King III. Anderson, 75, passed away on November 9, 2021, in Ennis, Texas.
